PREMATECH ADVANCED CERAMICS
Scope: Design, construct and relocate their machine shop operations into a renovated warehouse allowing for infrastructure upgrades and a flexible utility layout to allow for growth

Industry: Ceramics Manufacturing

Size: 27,000 sf

Services: Project and Relocation Management

Challenge: To relocate an active manufacturing operation before a lease expiration in four months.   Additionally, extended negotiations with National Grid to to upgrade the electrical service, including a new transformer and switchgear was required.

Result: The fast track design of the machine layout and supporting infrastructure allowed for a flexible utility bay design for future reconfigurations.  The carefully scheduled shutdown, prep and relocation of rigged equipment around strict production deadlines allowed for minimizing downtime and immediate reconnection and calibration to restart production. 

KEN'S FOODS
Industry: Manufacturing – Salad dressings and condiments

Size: 40,000 sf / 150 people impacted

Services: Project and Move Management

Challenge: To coordinate the construction of a 20,000 sf addition and renovate an existing, occupied 20,000 sf without disruption to headquarters and production operations.

Result:  Manufacturing continued throughout the twelve month, phased project without interruption.
