Size: 110,000sf new building and parking structure

ServicesOwner’s project manager and move manager

Challenge: To lead a construction project with a client and team members in remote geographic locations while introducing an open plan design concept to employees.

Result: The successful construction and occupancy of the new “out of the ground” building and parking garage, 6 months ahead of schedule in order to realize significant cost savings at the former leased space.

CROSS COUNTRY AUTOMOTIVE SERVICES

Size: 77,000sf / 450 people moved

Services: Owner’s Project Manager and Move Manager

Challenge: 24 hour roadside assistance operation that could not be interrupted at any time during the relocation.

Result: Successfully executed this “plug and play” project under budget with no interruption to call center service.

Recent Restack Project in Back Bay

Size: 350,000 sf / 750 people impacted

Services:  Master Planning, Project and Move Management

Challenge: To increase the utilization of the existing space while renovating occupied areas in a six phase approach.

Result: Utilization of the existing space was increased by 15% through furniture reconfiguration, equipment consolidation and purging of unwanted materials.

SAPIENT

Scope: Fort Point PM has an ongoing relationship with Sapient supporting their initial consolidation project in Cambridge and subsequent relocation to Boston’s Back Bay.

2003 Cambridge Project

Size: 25,000 sf / 125 employees

Services: Project Management and Real Estate Disposition

Challenge: Accelerated time table of six weeks to renovate new space.  Collaborated with architect/interior designer to reflect corporate culture while managing schedule and budget to meet client expectations.

Result: Successfully managed renovation of newly leased space outfitted with existing furniture and timely disposition of former location.

2008 Boston Project

Size: 36,000 sf / 175 employees

Services: Project Management and Furniture Disposition

Challenge: Execute aggressive ten week construction schedule inclusive of data center build out and relocation.

Result: As a preferred service provider, Fort Point PM collaborated with Sapient to successfully maintain tight schedule and budget requirements.  FPPM also managed Sapient’s green initiative to reuse and recycle abandoned equipment and furniture.
