Two Fort Point PM Projects Win IFMA Boston Awards – EMD Serono Project Sagamore & Brown University South Street Landing

We’re excited to share that at this year’s IFMA Boston Awards of Excellence, two of our marquee projects, EMD Serono’s Project Sagamore and Brown University’s South Street Landing project, won awards in their respective categories. EMD Serono won their award in the Best Practice: Medium Project category and Brown University’s in the Best Practice: Large Project category.

EMD Serono Project Sagamore
Completed June 2017, EMD Serono’s Project Sagamore totaled 58,000 SF, including partial renovation of an existing 28,000 SF office building and a 30,000 SF expansion to that structure. The combined project allowed approximately 250 new/current employees to embrace the power of choice with regard to where and how they work.  In addition to seeking LEED Certification to complement the existing Sagamore Building’s Platinum LEED status, EMD Serono pursued WELL Building Standard Certification, recently receiving Gold Certification from The International Well Building Institute.

Shout-out to the project team for all of their hard work in helping to deliver this successful award-winning project.

Brown University South Street Landing
Urban universities all over the world are running out of space on their main campuses, and Brown University is no exception. With the goal of dedicating valuable real estate near the heart of the campus available for undergraduate academic pursuits, Brown relocated more than 400 employees from 20 administrative departments in 11 locations scattered across College Hill to iconic South Street Landing in the Jewelry District. This $220 million, 265,000-square-foot redevelopment project turned a century-old, long-abandoned power station into a truly unique spec administration building, where Brown is the anchor tenant with 136,000 square feet.

Shout-out to the project team for all of their hard work in helping to deliver this successful award-winning project.
