Fort Point PM Partners With Brown University To Implement Their Healthy Fall initiative

FPPM recently partnered with Brown University to implement their Healthy Fall initiative – an effort to return students to University classrooms safely with recommended social distancing modifications. FPPM deployed a team “on the ground” to survey and inventory furniture and equipment in over 225 classrooms, lecture halls, and unique learning spaces across 60 buildings. The survey was followed by the development of individual fit-plans noting reduced capacity to achieve social distancing guidelines and identification of reconfiguration requirements including temporary off-site storage of surplus furniture. We then generated a detailed tactical project schedule, managed implementation, installed ‘stickers’ to indicate loose furniture positioning, and available vs unavailable seating in fixed-seating lecture halls, as well as coordinated the conversion of alternative campus spaces into classrooms all to support the Universities goal of safe and healthy in-person learning.
