Colleen comes to us from Clark Construction, where her recent experience included the retrofit of an existing hospital space. Having served as both a Project Engineer and Project Manager, Colleen has a strong track record of overseeing construction operations, managing quality control efforts, and being the main point of contact for clients. Colleen received her B.A. degree in Engineering Studies and German from Lafayette College, and possesses technical efficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Smartsheet, and other programs. Colleen is a new Bostonian, having lived previously in D.C., and we hear she’s on the lookout for great food and entertainment recommendations. If you have some, be sure to let her know!
How long have you been working in the construction industry?
I have been in the industry for about six years.
What brought you to Fort Point?
I had just moved to Boston to be closer to family and was really impressed with the Fort Point team members I was fortunate enough to meet during the interview process. Everyone was, and has been, super helpful and amiable! I’m really looking forward to working with this team.
What advice would you give to those in the AEC industry?
Keep a positive attitude! A lot of what we do can get complicated, and can therefore be frustrating, but it’s important to step back every once in a awhile and recognize all the progress you and your team have made.
What are some of your greatest accomplishments?
I have worked on a few healthcare projects that were instrumental to serving the surrounding community. Being a part of those efforts, and seeing the impact that they had, will stay with me forever.
